Pre-booking Monthly and Daily Parking in Bondi Beach
With Bondi Beach being one of the most famous Sydney destinations, traffic and parking are certainly challenging. There’s simply not enough parking in Bondi Beach to cater for all the visitors. In fact, 37% of Sydney locals waste up to 10 minutes searching for a parking spot every time they drive. Mixed with the high levels of congestion, with 70% of Sydney residents saying traffic makes driving unpleasant, it really starts the whole day off on the wrong foot.
At Parkhound, we’re trying to change this. By connecting you with Bondi locals with unused parking space to share, we hope to decrease congestion and help you enjoy your day in Bondi Beach!
You're always protected with our Money Back Guarantee
Did you know that all Parkhound Drivers are protected by our money back guarantee? If the space isn't right for you, we'll refund your payment.
Common questions about parking in Bondi Beach
Who is Parkhound?
On Parkhound you’ll find over 50,000 parking spots listed, located across Australia. These include any and all spaces that could be used for parking:
- Garages
- Driveways
- Car parks
- Undercover lots
- Carports
Drivers can browse for available parking spots in the area, giving them access to many more options besides traditional and council parking at Bondi Beach. And because you book and pay ahead of time, no one can steal your spot before you get there. We also partner with small businesses and commercial operators, giving you transparency on pricing and access to exclusive discounts.
How does Parkhound work?
Anyone looking for parking across Australia can do a quick browse on our platform, by simply typing in their suburb or street. You’ll be given a list of available spaces nearby including garages, driveways and undercover spaces.
Listings provide detailed information about each spot, so you can easily see which ones are relevant based on size, amenities, security, prices and more. You can also use various filters to help narrow down your search. We have a number of both monthly and daily options.
Found one you like close to your destination? Send a booking request and the host will confirm your request. Payment and communication happens via Parkhound, protecting all parties. Then you can simply arrange a meeting to pick up keys or access cards - if needed - and start using your space.
How much is monthly parking at Bondi Beach?
Monthly parking in Bondi can cost anywhere from $144/month for Waverley Council residents up to $320/month for commuters. You can opt for a parking permit which gives you year round access to places like Queen Elizabeth Drive Car Park, but that costs around $1790 for non-residents. This can be a great option for regular beach day-trippers but you’ll have to arrive early to secure one of the limited spaces.
The Pacific Bondi Car Park offers monthly parking, but you will need to request a quote. Price can fluctuate depending on the number of bays that are available and whether you want a reserved parking spot.
Parking costs at Bondi Beach
| Option | Price | Reservation | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Council Parking | From $285/month | Unreserved | |
| Traditional Operators | Request a quote | Unreserved/Reserved | |
| Parkhound | From $188/month | Reserved | |
Bondi Beach is also known for how little parking is actually available, so having a permit doesn’t necessarily solve your parking problem. Book with Parkhound for any length of time and you’ll be assured of your spot, so you don’t waste any time driving around.
How much is off-street daily parking at Bondi Beach?
At Bondi Beach, you can expect to pay anywhere from $19.50 to $60 for daily off-street parking. The season does influence the rates greatly. In Winter, you can park for free at council car parks after 7pm but in the Summer, it can be over $4/hour at Park Drive or Queen Elizabeth Drive Car Park. You can find on-street parking in Bondi Beach with Park’nPay, the NSW Government app, but many spaces have a 2-hour or 4-hour parking limit.
Keep in mind with traditional operators, you can often score a discount by pre booking online. This can save you up to $19/day in Bondi. It’s also important to note that some parking facilities close by 11pm and you’ll be charged an additional overnight fee of around $30 if you don't leave before closing.
Off-street Daily Parking Costs at Bondi Beach
| Option | Price | Reservation | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Council Parking | From $19.50 to $35/day | Unreserved | |
