Getting to the Domestic Terminal
If you are planning to travel out of state, you have several options to consider when planning your trip to the domestic terminals of Melbourne Airport. Short or long-term parking options are available for Melbourne Airport parking, where you can readily choose the slot that will suit your trip length and budget.
If you are being dropped off, there are existing zones that allow cars to park for five minutes or for 15 minutes for those with a disability sticker. You can also hire a taxi from Melbourne City and be dropped off at the airport for a fare of about $55 to $65. Just remember that it may take a 35-minute travel time, and the fares may vary.
If you are from Frankston, St. Kilda, or Melbourne City, you may also opt to choose from the three services offered by the SkyBus, which will transfer you express to the airport. Give it 30-45 minutes of travel time, with T1 as the bus’ last stop upon reaching the airport. Public buses are not out of the list as they arrive and depart on the ground floor of the Transport Hub near T4 of the Melbourne Airport. It takes around 70 minutes of travel time for this option, and it requires the use of a myki card.
