Parking at The Sydney Royal Easter Show

One of Australia’s longest running celebrations, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, is a 12-day
event filled with fun activities, competitions, entertainment, shopping, food and carnival fun.
First started in 1823, it’s amazing that it’s still being held almost two centuries later.

The big event is staged at the Sydney Showground, 1 Showground Rd in the Sydney Olympic
Park. It is attended not just by people from Australia but by those from other countries as well.

Public Transport

For everyone planning to attend the show, getting there can be a problem, particularly with
high expected traffic. It is much easier for people who reside in Sydney and other nearby cities
in New South Wales. For people coming from the other states, we recommend flying to Sydney
and from there, take public transport to the Sydney Olympic Park.

Parking at Sydney Royal Easter Show

The event area of the celebration offers Sydney Royal Easter Show parking services at the fixed
rate of $25, no matter the length of stay. However, this parking service is on a first-come- first-
served basis. People who plan to drive to the show can book their parking ticket online.

Although booking your parking ticket ensures that you get a secure parking space at a
reasonable price, there are only 400 parking spaces available. You can avail of metered parking
as well as street parking outside the event venue. This costs around $2.70 per hour during off-
peak times and up to $7.00 per hour during peak hours.
